They are looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer to help build the infrastructure and integrations that connect their AI technology with enterprise customers' existing systems.

Role Overview

This is not a traditional DevOps or infrastructure maintenance position.

We are looking for a hands-on, technically strong engineer who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, building secure connections between systems and developing scalable solutions.

Working closely with the engineering team and enterprise customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's AI platform can securely connect with pharmaceutical organisations' internal systems and data environments.

You will be responsible for developing Python-based integrations, establishing secure enterprise connectivity and working directly with customer IT and security teams to overcome technical challenges.

Rather than simply maintaining existing infrastructure, you will help design and build reusable tools that make customer onboarding faster, more efficient and increasingly scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Working directly with enterprise customers' IT and security teams to establish secure access to internal systems and data environments.
• Designing and implementing secure connectivity using SSO, SAML, OAuth, VPNs, service accounts and secrets management.
• Developing and maintaining Python-based APIs, data connectors and enterprise system integrations.
• Building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP.
• Utilising infrastructure-as-code tools to automate deployments and improve platform reliability.
• Troubleshooting authentication, networking and integration challenges to ensure successful customer onboarding.
• Developing reusable integration frameworks and automation tools to accelerate future customer deployments.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, product and technical teams to support the ongoing development and scalability of the platform.

Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years working within platform engineering, infrastructure or enterprise integrations.
• Strong hands-on Python development experience, particularly building APIs, backend services, data connectors and integration tools.
• Practical experience with enterprise authentication technologies, including SSO, SAML and OAuth.
• Understanding of secure enterprise connectivity, including VPNs, firewalls, networking, service accounts and secrets management.
• Strong experience working with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform or similar technologies.
• Proven ability to develop, deploy and maintain reliable integrations between complex software systems.
• Confidence engaging directly with customer IT and security teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical independence and the ability to take ownership of engineering projects.
• Experience within enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data integration or B2B technology environments would be advantageous.
• Exposure to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or other highly regulated industries would be beneficial, but is not essential.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for working within a fast-moving environment where individual contributions make a genuine difference.
