Senior Software Project Manager

Our client is an internationally recognised MedTech innovator at the forefront of digital healthcare. Combining cutting-edge imaging technology, artificial intelligence and cloud-based software, they develop solutions that enable clinicians worldwide to diagnose and monitor patients with greater accuracy and confidence.

As they continue to expand their connected software ecosystem, they are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to lead strategic development projects that will shape the future of their digital platform.

 

Role overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex software development projects across desktop, cloud, mobile and edge technologies within a highly collaborative and innovative environment. Working closely with Product Management, Software Architects and Engineering teams, you'll be responsible for driving project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful launch of next-generation digital health solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end software development projects across the full product lifecycle, ensuring delivery on scope, quality, budget and timelines.
  • Drive Agile project execution using Scrum and Kanban methodologies while coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Software Architects and Technical Leads to deliver scalable cloud, SaaS and connected medical software solutions.
  • Partner with Product, Commercial, Regulatory, Quality and Operations teams to align technical delivery with business objectives.
  • Identify project risks, manage stakeholders and continuously improve software delivery processes and project governance.

 

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience leading complex software development projects, ideally within MedTech, healthcare or another regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, with experience leading cross-functional software teams.
  • Knowledge of modern software development, including cloud platforms, APIs, SaaS applications and software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project planning skills, with the ability to balance technical complexity and commercial priorities.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines or medical device software standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, MDR/FDA) would be highly advantageous.
