We are seeking an experienced Group Quality Director to support our client in their mission to drive innovation, excellence, and value across the healthcare and life sciences sector. Responsibilities
- Develop and align quality strategies with the organization’s long-term vision, embedding quality into all strategic initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of a unified governance framework to ensure compliance, transparency, and accountability across all entities.
- Oversee the deployment of operational excellence tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive process improvement and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate and lead internal audits, ensuring findings are addressed through structured risk mitigation and corrective actions.
- Identify quality-related risks and proactively implement prevention and control measures.
- Maintain a centralized risk register and collaborate with audit, compliance, and control teams to manage regulatory exposure.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership and excellence through training, capability-building programs, and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor and develop high-potential quality leaders, ensuring long-term succession planning and talent sustainability.
Requirements
- 20+ years of progressive experience in quality management, operational excellence, and performance improvement, including 8+ years in senior or executive leadership.
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise-wide quality systems and performance measurement tools.
- Expertise in global standards such as ISO 9001, EFQM, and tools like KPIs, benchmarking, and quality analytics.
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate at executive level.
- Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and data-driven quality decision-making methods (e.g., FMEA, Root Cause, Pareto).
