The company is currently recruiting a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its team. In this hands-on role, the engineer will take ownership of designing, developing, and scaling both front-end and back-end systems that power the digital storefront. Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams, they will shape the core product experience for thousands of users across Europe, balancing compliance, performance, and delightful user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across modern web technologies (React, Remix, Node.js, tRPC).
• Architect and optimise data flows with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs such as Drizzle.
• Improve site performance, scalability, and security across front-end and back-end layers.
• Modernise and refactor legacy components (e.g. migrating from Vue.js to React).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Growth teams to deliver impactful releases.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and analytics using tools such as Grafana or Firebase.
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.

Essential skills and experience

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with strong experience in React and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and ORMs.
• Solid grasp of performance optimisation, secure coding practices, and scalable architecture design.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (GCP or similar).
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working remotely in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Remix, tRPC, Zod, or react-hook-form.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Firebase) and modern DevOps practices.
• Previous work in e-commerce, digital health, or other regulated environments.
• Experience migrating legacy codebases or optimising mobile-first systems.
• Additional European language skills are a plus.
