Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate contracts: Handle complex commercial agreements, including pharmaceutical in-license and out-license deals, supply contracts, term sheets, and NDAs.

• Regulatory and compliance support: Provide expert legal counsel on regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions, aligning with industry standards.

• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Chief Strategy Officer, to integrate legal strategy with business goals.

• Commercial and strategic support: Advise on partnerships, joint ventures, and other high-value commercial transactions.

• Risk management: Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations.

• Cross-border collaboration: Work closely with subsidiaries in multiple regions to ensure legal consistency and alignment with corporate objectives.

• Corporate governance: Support best practices in governance, policy development, and compliance frameworks.

• Talent development: Assist in mentoring junior legal professionals, with a strong focus on developing UAE Nationals in line with Emiratisation targets.
