The role

In this position, you will join as an Electronics Engineer, becoming a key member of the hardware development team. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from early concept and design through to prototyping and production transfer, contributing to the development of advanced electronic systems. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with mechanical, optical, and software teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and compliant medical devices.


Key responsibilities

• Design PCBs, including schematics, stack-up, layout, and BOM (using Altium)

• Develop electronics for test setups, assembly processes, and manufacturing environments

• Simulate electronic circuits and validate performance through rapid prototyping

• Apply and contribute to best-practice electronics design methodologies

• Support risk management activities, including FMEA contributions

• Ensure compliance with relevant medical device standards and regulations

• Perform root-cause analysis on prototypes and support issue resolution

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle


Required experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in PCB design and electronic systems development

• Strong passion for electronics design and hardware development

• Solid understanding of electrical safety and EMC requirements

• Experience within medical device development, particularly IEC 60601-1

• Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic and detail-oriented approach

• Ability to clearly document and communicate complex technical information

• Collaborative mindset with experience working across multidisciplinary teams

• Experience with FPGA (VHDL) is advantageous
