We're looking for General Manager to lead, manage and develop the overall performance of our client's current and future product portfolio. Deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets while meeting global and regional organizational objectives through effective leadership of sales and marketing. And effectively identify/monitor multiple local market conditions and build strong customer relationships. Contribute to META Region objectives and strategies to deliver competitive and superior market performance.

Financial Responsibility: Revenue $58m for indicative purposes

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop a clear business vision that can be turned into excellent implementation of well conceived tactical plans.
  • Set management objectives and manage performance based on assessment of individual,
  • team and country/cluster performance vs. these objectives.
  • Manage the P&L including the delivery of top line and bottom line results.
  • Responsible for driving effective leadership, management, talent acquisition, succession
  • planning and talent development. Directly responsible for coaching and partnering with direct
  • reports on building and implementing their development plans and conducting their
  • performance appraisal discussions.
  • Manage overall Sales & Trade Term strategy and give clear leadership direction to Sales Heads
  • how to optimize contracts to receive strong growth and at the same time build strong relations
  • with our key customers.
  • Manage relationships with distributors to ensure organization's has productive and effective trade
  •  terms and distribution muscle to maximize growth and profitability.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and Regional Functional Heads.
  •  In conjunction with Head of Region META, lead the drive to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Contribute to META objectives, strategies and plans – monitor and evaluate performance and
  • deliver local country objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies in all fields of activity e.g. Code of Conduct,
  • ABAC etc.
  • Works to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, adhering to the organization's Standards of
  • Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.


Key Skills

  • Leadership experience, and proven ability to manage, team with, and motivate associates of widely varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrixed organization
  • Proven ability and experience of risk management
  • Strong results orientation. Excellent persuasive and influencing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills


Qualifications & Experience 

  •  Extensive experience +10 years in sales/ marketing management positions within the life sciences /consumer industry
  • University Degree in Science and/or degree in Business. MBA Preferred
  • Successful record of contribution and/or P&L responsibility
  • Proven sales and marketing management ability
  • Comprehensive understanding of KSA market dynamics
  • Understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes
  • Extensive Sales representative/sales & marketing management
