📍 San Francisco, CA | 🧬 High-Content Imaging | 🔬 AI x Biology

Join a company redefining toxicology and drug development with AI-powered biology.

This is your chance to be a founding team member at a trailblazing biotech startup replacing animal testing with the world’s most accurate AI models. You’ll design cutting-edge assays, uncover hidden biological insights, and help build the most comprehensive cell imaging dataset in the world.

Who you’ll be working with:

Founded in 2023 and backed by deep science and technical talent, this organisation is on a mission to transform drug development. By combining advanced AI, high-content imaging, and multimodal datasets, they predict toxicity with greater accuracy than traditional experiments—eliminating failures before they happen. Based in San Francisco, they collaborate globally with leading pharma and biotech companies.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the analysis of the largest multimodal toxicity dataset in the world
  • Design novel, high-content imaging assays and quality control workflows
  • Transform noisy biological data into high-impact insights
  • Work cross-functionally with biologists and ML researchers to improve AI model accuracy
  • Develop and apply imaging algorithms to identify signals linked to drug toxicity
  • Create tools and frameworks for exploring liver, heart, kidney, and immune tissue responses
  • Support global discovery teams in interpreting complex biological outputs

What we’re looking for:

  • Biologists who code—or computational scientists who think like biologists
  • Experience with Python, Pandas, Numpy, and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Expertise in high-content imaging, image segmentation, and assay development
  • Experience with tools such as CellProfiler, Cellpose, or other imaging pipelines
  • A mindset for scientific precision, deep curiosity, and a drive to publish impactful work

What’s in it for you:

  • Shape a new scientific standard—your work will replace outdated animal testing models
  • Collaborate with a world-class team at the intersection of machine learning, biology, and drug discovery
  • Access to proprietary datasets and tools not available anywhere else
  • Flexible, fast-paced work culture driven by impact, not bureaucracy
  • Equity participation and competitive salary in a mission-led, high-growth environment
