APAC Cluster Lead - Vietnam

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced APAC Cluster Lead for our esteemed client in the Global Emerging Markets organisation. This senior-level role will focus on managing sales and operations across the APAC markets.

As an APAC Cluster Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and operational efficiency across the region. Your role will be pivotal in expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the achievement of sales and profit targets. You will be instrumental in implementing commercial and pricing policies, managing distributor relationships, and preparing the market for future product launches.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve and exceed financial targets by market/distributor.
  • Oversee annual forecasts, manage order processes, and ensure on-time shipments.
  • Develop regional distribution agreements to simplify the business model.
  • Negotiate distributor agreements, set volume targets, and ensure year-to-year growth.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews with distributor teams.
  • Collaborate on customer discussions and agreements, including tender processes.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment within the GETM organisation.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, operations, or general management in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the APAC market, sales channels, and customer landscape.
  • Proven experience in managing distributor markets.
  • Knowledge of market access, marketing, regulatory, and pricing functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, or Biology.
  • An MBA or related postgraduate degree is advantageous.
