We are looking for a dynamic Director of Operations on behalf of our client. This strategic hire will play a pivotal role in steering the operational helm of a key facility, guiding multiple departments to ensure seamless synergy and efficiency.

The Operations Director serves as the operational leader, responsible for the seamless integration of Operations, Logistics, and Client Services. This individual ensures that the facility's operations are running smoothly and effectively, supporting the Senior Vice President and interfacing with corporate services to maintain the flow of excellence. Their role is critical in shaping and implementing the operational strategies that underpin the company's success.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Reflect the core vision and values of the company through daily leadership.
  • Manage multiple department heads ensuring adherence to objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings to address operational challenges and project progress.
  • Partner with the senior management team to refine organisational structure and streamline processes for business growth and strategic goals.
  • Implement the compound management strategy in line with executive leadership and board directives.
  • Proactively address compliance risks and develop strategies to prevent future issues.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets in alignment with strategic plans.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and service offerings.
  • Foster collaboration across all company locations and with the Business Development team to maintain exemplary compound management services.


Key Requirements:


  • A minimum of 8 years experience in business and chemical compound management operations, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills and managerial success.
  • Proven capability to recruit, mentor, and motivate a team, with effective delegation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with Management inventory systems.
  • Relevant systems experience having worked within an ERP system.
