Senior Regional Finance Director

Your influence as the Senior Finance Director will be felt across the organisation, working directly with the Regional GM as a pivotal commercial business partner. In addition you will take on the responsibility of guiding and developing the regional finance team, collaborating with stakeholders across various functions, and ensuring that the company's financial processes and policies are followed. Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end financial planning and forecasting for the wider region
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes and drive financial performance
  • Designing and implementing financial strategies to support growth and profitability.
  • Provide timely and insightful financial performance analysis to inform decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
  • Support General Manager and regional Leadership Team in business reviews
  • Contribute to M&A activities, including integrating acquired entities
  • Help make capital allocation decisions, track investment performance, and streamline financial procedures
  • Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring a strong control environment across the region
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices and US GAAP, including statutory filings and tax compliance
  • Interact with internal and external auditors and tax authorities as needed
  • Mentoring and developing finance team members to build a high-performing team.


Qualifications:


  • Professionally certified accountant with at least 12 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP is required
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results and managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization with matrix reporting lines
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and committed to delivering on commitments
