Medical Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Medical Representative to join our client's team in Qatar. You will be part of a multinational pharmaceutical company that is committed to improving the health and well-being of people around the world. The company is focused on developing innovative pharmaceutical products that are of the highest quality, safety, and efficacy.


As a Medical Representative, you will play a critical role in the company's success by promoting the products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies in the Qatar market. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that the products are effectively promoted and sold.


Responsibilities:


  • Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments
  • Make presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses and pharmacists in the retail sector
  • Organise conferences for doctors and other medical staff
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support administrative staff
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts
  • Win new customers, as well as develop long-term relationships with existing ones
  • Meet and, if possible, exceed sales targets, regularly monitoring your business plans to make sure you achieve this
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the area sales manager
  • Regularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
  • Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
  • Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.


Experience:


  •  1-4 years of experience in sales.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Good relationship with KOLs in Qatar
  • Demonstrate consultative selling ability.
  • Action Oriented – takes the initiative and is proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and persuasive communication and presentation skills, to give the best advice to customers.
  • Results oriented - naturally strives for the best performance and has the willingness to learn.
  • Displays an open growth mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent Arabic is a plus.
  • A good team player, dynamic, optimistic, accurate, hard-working, and creative.
