DMPK Principal Scientist

This a great opportunity for a talented DMPK Principal Scientist to support the in vitro DMPK team.


The successful candidate will be accountable for developing, implementing, and validating analytical methods that support the company's drug development program. They will also have the responsibility for providing support for bioanalytical method development and validation in a fast-paced environment. In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will collaborate with other scientists on projects related to drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology.

Responsibilities:


  • To plan and execute in vitro drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies to understand the absorption, metabolism, distribution, and excretion (ADME) of drug candidates.
  • Planning and performing in vitro DMPK studies to support drug development activities through the lifecycle of new chemical entities
  • Conducting experimental design, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting of results using appropriate statistical methods
  • Providing technical support to the in vitro DMPK team when needed


Qualifications:


  • BSc., MSc. and/or PhD. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in performing in vitro DMPK assays
  • Familiarity with quantitative LC-MS/MS techniques and basic troubleshooting
