Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to support our client in their mission to revolutionise healthcare through innovative medical technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and development of complex, web-based software with a focus on TypeScript and modern web frameworks like React, SolidJS, or Vue.
  • Create and maintain software architecture, data models, unit testing, and APIs with a strong emphasis on web application security.
  • Build intuitive and interactive 3D visualisations using tools like WebGL, enabling dynamic user interactions and precise planning tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical developments with product and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor colleagues to enhance their technical skills and ensure high-quality documentation for external regulatory and quality assessments.
  • Adapt to frequently changing requirements in a regulated environment, such as medical or financial industries.

 Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in designing and supporting web-based software.
  • Expertise in modern web browsers and features like event loops, WebWorkers, SSEs, WebSockets, and cache management.
  • Experience or strong interest in 3D programming, including visualisation and user interactions.
  • Knowledge of working in regulated environments, such as MDR, IEC 62304, or GDPR compliance.
  • Proactive, self-organised working style, with the ability to handle dynamic and evolving project requirements.

 Desirable:

  • Familiarity with SolidJS, FastAPI, AWS, Kubernetes, and medical data standards like DICOM or HL7/FHIR.
  • Previous experience in regulated medical device software development.
