We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving sales growth. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets across the country.
Key responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and sales targets in Iraq.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the national sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and monitor competitor activities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to inform decision-making and track progress against targets.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3-5 years in a sales management role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performance sales team.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Iraq, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
- Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English is desired
