We completed a search for a Data Science Lead for a fast-growing MedTech organisation focused on post-surgical care through clinically validated remote monitoring technology. The role led the organisation’s data science function, drove algorithm development strategy, and contributed to the development of next-generation medical device technology used in clinical settings across Europe.

The position involved developing and optimising physiological signal processing algorithms, translating clinical requirements into production-ready technical solutions, collaborating closely with software engineering and clinical teams, and supporting regulatory and clinical validation activities. The role also included managing clinical datasets and ensuring compliance with medical device software standards such as IEC 62304.

The role required a strong background in biomedical engineering, signal processing, or a related field, along with experience in physiological signal processing, biostatistics, time-series analysis, and medical device or digital health environments. Strong programming skills (particularly Python), experience with clinical data, cloud platforms, and the ability to work cross-functionally with clinicians, engineers, and product teams were essential.
