Senior Research And Development Engineer | Cardiovascular medical devices | Germany

Rheinfelden, Germany

Aspire Life Sciences supported an established medical device manufacturer with its search for a Senior Catheter Development Engineer in Rheinfelden, Germany. The company developed cardiovascular catheter technologies used in sensitive cardiac procedures.

The role covered the full medical device development lifecycle, from early concepts and prototypes through design verification, validation and transfer into production. The engineer would develop and optimise catheter components, materials and assemblies, investigate technical challenges, and help improve both product designs and manufacturing processes.

The search called for hands-on experience developing regulated medical devices, ideally cardiovascular catheters or other minimally invasive products. It also required someone who could take ownership of technical development work and collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
