Looking for your next role in life sciences?
Aspire Life Sciences supported a Norwegian MedTech company with its search for a DevOps Engineer in Oslo. The company developed medical imaging software that helped neurosurgeons visualise the brain during complex procedures, including brain tumour surgery.
The role focused on making the company’s neurosurgical imaging platform scalable, reliable and secure as it expanded internationally. The DevOps Engineer would build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, use Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and develop CI/CD pipelines for software delivered to cloud and on-premises customers. The brief also covered system monitoring, deployment automation and security within a regulated healthcare environment.
The search called for experience in DevOps, site reliability or cloud engineering, with practical knowledge of Linux, Docker, container orchestration and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. The position followed a hybrid working pattern, with three days a week in the Oslo office.
